I am very glad that I had ReSTOR lenses put in during my cataract surgery. It’s wonderful to be able to see without glasses!

December 17th, 2007

I had cataract surgery on both eyes in July and August 2007. I chose to get the ReSTOR lenses in order to see both up close and distance. I have been tremendously happy with the results! Before the surgery I was extremely nearsighted. I would wake up in the morning and have to reach for my glasses to see sunrises clearly! I can see the trees outside and in the spring I can see the buds in the branches! I have never seen so well in my life!

The surgery was not at all painful and did not take very long. The recovery period is very quick. In two days I was back doing everything I did before.

I can see close up-for reading, sewing, anything, my only problem is that if there is not good light I will have some trouble with seeing clearly, but that is minimal.

I am very glad that I had ReSTOR lenses put in during my cataract surgery. It’s wonderful to be able to see without glasses!
