Dr. Hannah Song joined Washington Eye Physicians and Surgeons at the end of 2012.
She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science and Microbiology. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She continued her training with a residency program in ocular disease at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and low vision rehabilitation at Hines VA Blind Rehabilitation Center in Chicago, IL, where she gained experience in diagnosing and treating complex eye diseases. Dr. Song completed her training with externships at William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center, The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Baltimore VA Medical Center, and multiple private Optometry practices. She has successfully completed the Advanced Competency in Medical Optometry (ACMO) exam.
Dr. Hannah Song is an optometrist specializing in primary eye care, glasses and contact lens fittings, pre- and post- operative refractive surgery care including LASIK, pre- and post- operative cataract surgery care, diabetic and ocular disease eye exams, and co-management of glaucoma. She strives to provide the best eye care and looks forward to building a long term relationship with her patients.
