Dr. Adi is a fellowship trained corneal surgeon. She offers 20 years of experience in refractive surgery including all laser (bladeless) LASIK, PRK and implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) for patients seeking independence from glasses and contacts. Dr. Adi is also a seasoned cataract surgeon offering multifocal (ReSTOR, Tecnis, and Symfony) and accommodative (Crystalens) implants for patients seeking the youthful ability to see near and far without glasses as well as Toric implants for the correction of astigmatism. Dr. Adi has expertise in complex cataract surgery and advanced laser Femtosecond cataract surgery (LenSx). She began performing DSAEK for Fuchs’ dystrophy and DALK for Keratoconus in 2006, as one of the early adapters of lamellar corneal surgery. She continues to volunteer in teaching and received the prestigious Teacher of the Year award from the Georgetown University Ophthalmology Residents in 1998.
